Our Story
When I started my search for a dog to add to my farm it wasn't long before I found that Ausralian Shepherds would be the perfect fit. Being in Alberta I found it difficult in finding the true old bloodlines of the Australian Shepherd. It seemed that toys and minis were the leaders on what was being offered. Originally bred for ranch work and herding I found that this trait was being pushed to the side. So my research and travels took me into the states- I have put tremendous effort into finding the best bloodlines and pedigrees to add to my program to try and preserve the old lines of the Australian Shepherd and offering amazing family dogs to familes!
Is a working Aussie right for me?
You don't have to have cattle, or sheep to own a working Aussie. This is often the concerns of people that contact me, they are looking for more of a laid back family dog. This is the biggest misconception. The lines that I offer are one of the best dogs you will ever own. They are extremely intelligent, quick witted, not easily distracted, very focused and protective dog. THE TRUE WORKING AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD. We breed for their incredible minds.
Our working Aussies are amazing family dogs! Don't let the word "working" scare you! This just simply means they work for YOU! .
