Happy families!

My husband and I adopted Sally (formerly Cali) from Summit Acres at the end on November last year. She is so smart with lots of energy and such a sweet disposition. Summit Acres has a great facility for breeding and training. The owners have other animals as well so the dogs are exposed to a variety of stimulation. They train for good manners and loyalty to their humans. We wish them all the best with her little farm and hope to visit often to cuddle the puppies!!

I’ve long dreamed of having an Australian Shepherd. 

The right time finally arrived and I started the search.

I didn’t have to look far and wide, as Summit Acres Australian Shepherds is very close to my home here in Alberta.

I was fascinated with what I saw on their website, so I reached out and got an immediate, professional, and friendly response.

I was already impressed and very happy I had found a reputable breeder.

I put my name in for a puppy but did point out that I would be interested in an adult dog as well.

I was kept updated on a regular basis and the interaction was always upbeat, friendly and helpful. Any questions I had were always answered promptly and thoroughly.

Then one day very recently I got a message from Summit Acres saying a young adult dog was available. I was so excited I couldn’t wait to meet the youngster.

When we visited, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel very comfortable at their lovely farm. It was a very enjoyable visit and it was love at first sight with the young Maisie. She came home with us the next day and we couldn’t be happier with her.

Maisie is a beautiful, healthy, smart, respectful young lady who has settled in very well with our family, including an older dog and cat.

Maisie already had some excellent foundational training, and learns new things quickly. She enjoys playing hard as much as she enjoys relaxing and cuddling on the couch. 

We have just begun our journey and adventures together, and are looking forward to many more years of joy with her.

I would highly recommend Summit Acres Australian Shepherds to anybody looking to have and enjoy one of these wonderful companions.
